Responsibilities:

  • Conduct advanced rock physics studies to enhance reservoir characterization.
  • Lead and participate in petrophysical evaluations for oil and gas exploration projects.
  • Develop and implement seismic-petrophysics workflows to optimize reservoir understanding.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate petrophysical data into reservoir models.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior petrophysicists.

Requirements:

  • 20+ years of experience as a Petrophysicist in the oil and gas industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of rock physics, petrophysical evaluation, and seismic-petrophysics workflows.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard petrophysical software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Salary Range: $7,500 – $10,000 per month, based on experience. + Company benefits.

Lumina Geophysical is a Software and Service company based in Houston, TX. We provide high resolution reservoir characterization solutions to the Oil and Gas industry. Our unique tools for quantitative interpretation help clients extract more information from geophysical data. We work on conventional and unconventional plays in the US and other geographical areas, offering integrated solutions. R&D is our key focus, and we provide R&D services to clients along with software solutions.

 

Role Description:

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Technical Sales Specialist at Lumina Geophysical. The role is primarily located in Houston, TX, but allows for some remote work. The Technical Sales Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to technical sales, including communication, technical support, and customer service. The role requires collaborating with clients to understand their needs, providing technical expertise and support, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

 

Qualifications:

Technical Sales and Sales skills

Strong communication and customer service skills

Technical support expertise

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to effectively present and demonstrate technical solutions

Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is preferred

Knowledge of reservoir characterization and geophysical data interpretation is a plus

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
